I hired Gateway homes to do a substantial renovation in my home that included flooring throughout, new stairs, four bathrooms, opening up some walls and a few other touches. They started at the end of September and just completed the final touches. I couldn’t be happier with their work and would highly recommend them. Frank and his team did an amazing job and the house looks spectacular. When it comes to renovations the final product is what’s most important to me but what I appreciated the most was their ability to resolve any issue. Sometimes when walls get opened up there can be surprises and unknowns. In my case there was severe water damage under a shower that had rotted the floor, support issues when opening up walls and a few other surprises along the way. They always knew exactly what to do, explained every option in detail and completed the work with the highest standards. I love the new layout, hardwood flooring, stairs, oversized tile, heated floors, curb-less shower and everything else they did. If your priority is getting the job done right and avoiding shoddy workmanship, this is the company you want.

It was an absolute pleasure having Gateway Homes assist me with my move in renovations. Frank and his team worked tirelessly, quietly (as possible) and extremely efficiently and cleanly! People always arrived on time, completed the work as planned and moved through my myriad of projects with lightening speed! Any sub contractors for my electrical work were just as pleasant, and courteous as Frank and his team and took the same amount of care with their work as well. Frank and his team completed it all in a mere 2-3 week time frame. No touch ups, everything just perfect from start to finish!! I would highly recommend Gateway Homes for all your contracting needs and I will go to them again for any of my needs in the future! • Remove the center non load bearing wall in the basement. • Remove the existing laminate flooring from the basement. • Supply and install sub-floor with air gap membrane. • Install the owner supplied laminate flooring in the basement. • Re-install the existing baseboard. • Mend in the suspended ceiling. • Install the owner supplied shiplap to one basement wall. • Fill in above the Main Floor fireplace with drywall taped and sanded smooth. • Supply and install dimmer switches to replace toggle switches as per the owner’s request. Install the owner’s lighting fixtures. Re-work the hydro wires at the removed wall location. Rough in the wiring to the future electric fireplace. Install the owners electric fireplace • Remove the construction waste from the home. • Provide a final cleaning for the basement. • Two year warranty for the workmanship and the Contractor supplied materials. Just a fantastic experience from initial meeting to project completion!
